Lake Enriquillo

​Lake Enriquillo is the lowest point and the biggest lake in the Caribbean. All year you can see American crocodiles. Iguana’s sunning on the rocks and many exotic birds.  From April to July. Flamingos stop here on their migration route.
Playa Limón
​Just outside the hamlet of El Cedro you will find the 3 kilometre long Playa Limón.   You can simply soak up the sun or lie in the shade of a coconut tree.  Horse riding is popular here and you can join an organised trek.  Walk or ride to the top of Montaña Redonda for a 360o view of the entire area.  The photos that you take here will wow your friends on social media.
