Panama CityPanama City can feel like a 2 centre destination. On one side there is the hustle and bustle of a modern metropolis with the traffic, construction projects, bright lights and casinos. On the other side, head over to Casco Viej, where you will find boutique hotels, cobble stone streets and the older buildings to admire. Panama City is the ideal starting point for a Panama exploration with easy access to both the Caribbean and Pacific coastlines, the rainforest, and of course, its famous canal. BoqueteThe small town of Boquete is on the banks of the Caldera River in the west of Panama. Located very close to the Baru Volcano National Park within the Chiriquí Highlands. Boquete is the ideal location to start your hiking, rafting or climbing tours. 
Bocas del ToroWith 50 cays and 200 islets there is lots to explore at Bocas del Toro. Take a water taxi from the town of Bocas as the locals refer to it. You’ll find a beach complex alongside some spectacular snorkelling sites. If you’re not sure where to start, go to either Isla Colon or Isla Bastimentos. 
Panama CanalThe Panama Canal runs for 80 kilometres between Panama City and Colón linking the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Lago Gatun is an artificial lake and Culebra Cut which runs through the mountains. The canal is best appreciated as part of a cruise holiday. 
San Blas IslandsOwned by the native Kuna people, San Blas Islands consist of some 378 isles in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Being largely undeveloped this is eco-friendly holidaying. Snorkel straight from the beach or relax in a hammock and watch the local wildlife. The isles are home to: capybaras, iguana, monkeys and turtles
