Rio UruguayRio (River) Uruguay is bordered, alternatively, by forest, lagoons and grassland. This mix of terrain offers birdwatchers some marvellous sights, the estimated 458 different species include: the rufous-browed peppershrike,the sooty tyrannulet, the coscoroba swan, the glaucous-blue grosbeak, the burrowing owl and whistling heron to name but a few.
