Aguas Calientes

Situated in the Urubamba River Valley, Aguas Calientes is known for its thermal baths a great starting point for those planning to visit the nearby Inca ruins of Machu Picchu.  There is plenty to see and do in Aguas Calientes, the town centre offers a range of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops.  Mercado Artesanal is the craft market and recommended tours include: Los Jardines de Mandor gardens for its plethora of orchids and birds.  Butterfly House is about conservation.
